Accessibility
Accessibility is not a feature. It is a baseline for any serious website.
A significant portion of our work is in higher education and the public sector, where accessibility compliance is a requirement. We build accessibility into the process from the start rather than treating it as a final checklist.
During design, we use tools like Stark to validate color contrast, legibility, and visual clarity. We also simulate how designs appear for people with color vision deficiencies so issues can be addressed early.
During development, we combine automated and manual testing using tools like Siteimprove, along with open source tools such as WAVE, AXE-Core, and Pa11y. This helps us identify issues early, validate compliance, and ensure consistency across templates and components.
For existing websites, we offer comprehensive accessibility audits. These result in a clear, prioritized list of issues, including severity and recommended fixes, so your team knows exactly what to address.
Accessibility is ongoing work. We help teams put practices in place so their sites remain usable and compliant over time.
