Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is the standard that is used for the styling and much of the layout for web pages. One of the biggest advantages it offers is the ability to consolidate all of the style properties of a website into a single document. Having the visual style independent of the website architecture and content, means that to change the entire look and layout of a site requires only design and CSS work.
